Wells Fargo CEO Tim Sloan and Mastercard CEO Ajaypal Banga are set to discuss the future of finance at the Fintech Ideas Festival in San Francisco Wednesday. The conversation will be moderated by “Squawk Box ” co-anchor Andrew Ross Sorkin.

Wells Fargo’s Sloan took over as CEO in October 2016, guiding the bank through the aftermath of sales scandals that have resulted in more than $2 billion in fines, and growth restrictions imposed by the Federal Reserve.

Banga has led Mastercard as CEO since 2010. This week, the payment processor announced it was a partner in the new Apple credit card. Mastercard also announced this week that it would invest almost $300 million in the London initial public offering of Dubai-based payments processor Network International.
