At this year’s DLD conference in Berlin, Wirecard presented a special highlight: the ‘bottoms-up showcase’ combining different technologies into a unique innovative experience.
Joern Leogrande, Executive Vice President Mobile Services at Wirecard, explained the project. The user was able to register individually as a guest via face recognition using an app. Then he placed an order for a beer using the app, with the beer glass being filled from the bottom. Invisible payment in the backend completed the process, without the need for further action.
